Monthly Meetings
From January through October, Ventura County Corvette Club holds their meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Check our Online Calendar for information.
The first meeting of the month is held at Carrow's Restaurant in Ventura (at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Seaward) at 7pm, although most members start arriving around 6:30. This is a Board Meeting, open to all members and visitors. During the meeting, members will discuss and vote on various club subjects, and plan upcoming events. We meet in the private meeting room and order dinner from the restaurant's menu - checks are individual or in couples.
The second meeting of the month is an informal Dinner Meeting held at various local restaurants. We meet at the designated restaurant at 7pm, and although club subjects are discussed, this is generally a social event.
During the holiday seasons of November and December we only hold Board Meetings. This is when we vote for club officers and make preparations for the following year.
Visitors
Visitors are encouraged to visit us during our Board Meeting. You will get a better idea of what our club is like, and the type of events we plan. If you decide to join, our Treasurer can give you the paperwork and the Board Members can answer any questions you might have. Don't panic if you don't see many Vettes in the parking lot, most of our members keep their "babies" garaged and groomed for special events and road trips. Just come on in and ask the hostess to show you where we are. Meetings last about 1½ hours, and most members order dinner.
